Chromatic Object is a new line of unstretched canvas works that arrive ready to hang. They take inspiration from modern architecture, grid systems, utopian art, color theories, and stained glass.
They use printed ink on canvas with layers of complex color combinations to create a unique, subtle texture.
They hang on the wall with a simple magnetic hanging system handmade in the Chromatic Object studio out of cherry wood, similar to a textile. The loose canvas is attached at the top and bottom. The top wooden hanger is screwed into the wall at two points. It can be hung in minutes.
