DAYLIGHT DREAMS EDITIONS is an art studio based in Los Angeles releasing Large Format Limited Edition Fine Art.
Artist Molly Frances has worked as an Art Director, Stylist and Interior Designer and founded Daylight Dreams Editions in early 2014 with Creative Director Mark Frohman as a way of bringing together work from a range of artists under one collective umbrella that teases the line between Fine Art, Design, and the Decorative Arts. DDE takes particular inspiration from the Omega Workshops, an early 20th Century Idealist design group in Britain, spun off from the Bloomsbury Group, that sought to allow artists, writers, and designers to take control of their own distribution outside of the established gallery and existing commercial systems, and break down the divisions between the fine and decorative arts.
DDE is led by a core group of artists and designers working out of our studio in Los Angeles, with ‘satellite’ artists that we work with nationally and internationally. We strive to offer unique artworks at the highest quality. Our work is available as Framed Art or unframed prints.
Some pieces are attributed to the individual artist that created the work and other pieces are attributed to DDE Studio, depending on the context of the piece in the studio’s catalog and the artist’s wishes.
All works are pigment prints – a type of fine art printing method that uses archival inks and fine art papers. DDE’s prints use our top-of-the-line 12-ink Wide-Format Printers on heavyweight 100% cotton Fine Art Papers, typically 255gsm – 350gsm. Depending on the aesthetic of the edition, we may use a smooth rag natural or a textured velvet paper.
We ship framed prints in the continental U.S. and unframed prints worldwide.
